Tyler Van Stone, CPA, is a Tax Manager at Haskell & White. Tyler primarily serves the Firm’s real estate organizations, working with entities structured as partnerships. Tyler is passionate about serving his clients and building relationships to further his development and provide strategies to help his clients reach their goals.

Tyler frequently communicates with his clients and enjoys helping clients solve problems and simplifying the tax process. He assists clients with complex tax issues such as navigating international tax regulations and credits, 1031 exchanges, waterfall accounts, and promote fees. Tyler interprets tax laws and enjoys learning alongside his clients as their businesses develop and grow. His goal is to be known as an expert in all tax-related matters.

Tyler is a team player who highly regards collaboration and seeks opportunities to assist others. At Haskell & White, Tyler feels like a part of a supportive family. He appreciates being on a team that shares best practices, and he is always eager to learn from the experienced colleagues and leaders at the Firm.

Tyler first found his passion for accounting in college. Tyler’s natural affinity for numbers allowed him to excel in his accounting courses and ultimately receive a PCAOB scholarship and pursue a career in accounting. Tyler received his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accounting from Hawaii Pacific University. He is originally from Las Vegas, Nevada and in his free time, he enjoys watching sports and playing golf and basketball.
