Jack Ankerstjerne, CPA, is an Audit Manager at Haskell & White. Jack brings over seven years of public accounting experience to the Firm, working with private and public companies in biotech, real estate, and manufacturing and distribution. His role as Manager involves serving and advising clients, gaining a deep understanding of client operations, and keeping audit projects on time and budget. He has extensive experience auditing complex organizations requiring a high level of technical skill.

Jack prioritizes client service and goes above and beyond to help clients succeed. Jack likes to take a step back and look at the big picture to develop a deeper understanding of his clients and their businesses. Clients appreciate Jack’s proactiveness as he provides them with the best solutions and continually thinks about how he can proactively solve issues that may arise.

He always looks for new ways to improve his skills and contribute to his client’s success. Recognizing the importance of staying ahead of industry changes, Jack made it a priority to prepare his clients for recent FASB accounting standard changes to the lease accounting standard (ASC 842) and revenue recognition (ASC 606).

Jack is known for being approachable and a great role model for his peers. He is always willing to share his knowledge and experience with others and encourages his peers to strive for excellence in their work.

Jack is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas – Opus College of Business. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, watching movies and tv, listening to podcasts, yoga, and is currently learning chess.
