Haskell & White Sponsors Corporate Governance Seminar for Industry and Academic Leaders

IRVINE, Calif., April 26, 2004 — Haskell & White LLP, one of the largest independently owned accounting, auditing and tax consulting firms in Orange County, today announced the moderators and academic sessions for the 2005 Haskell & White Corporate Governance Seminar to be held the afternoon of Friday, April 29, at the Irvine Mariott Hotel.

The seminar will be held in cooperation with California State University, Fullerton’s Center for Corporate Reporting & Governance as part of its Section 404 Compliance Conference scheduled that day at the same location. The Haskell & White Seminar will provide a unique opportunity for academicians, practitioners, and regulators to discuss the effect of financial regulations on corporate reporting and governance.

The conference will feature 18 academic presenters from many top universities around the world in countries such as Singapore, Tawian, Hong Kong, Canada and India, as well as esteemed universities in the United States including: Columbia, Rutgers, Southern Methodist, and University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.

The Haskell & White Seminar will feature two concurrent academic sessions. Attendees will learn the latest information on topics such as auditing, earnings management, board oversight, and corporate governance.
