SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Haskell & White IT Practice Leader Lee Barken, CPA, has been elected to the board of directors of the San Diego Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a national non-profit organization with a mission to create sustainable building design and construction. Barken, who will serve as treasurer for the Council, currently practices in the San Diego office of Haskell & White, one of Southern California’s largest independently owned accounting firms.
In his role as treasurer, Barken will manage fiscal responsibilities of the organization’s San Diego chapter to support the organization’s programs and activities that advance buildings in the region to be environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work.
