John is a Tax Manager at Haskell & White. John primarily serves real estate clients but also serves individuals, S corporations, and LLCs. Growing up in a family of accountants and business owners, John developed an early appreciation for the accounting profession and the value of strong client relationships and a strong work ethic. He began his career as an internal auditor before transitioning to tax, where he has dedicated the past five years to building his expertise in public accounting and quickly advancing to the Manager level.

He was initially drawn to Haskell & White for its extensive real estate industry expertise. John strives to be a real estate tax expert, delivering thoughtful, industry-specific solutions and building long-term relationships with his clients.

Known for being responsive, approachable, and proactive, John takes pride in always meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work. He regularly checks in with clients, provides timely updates, and anticipates questions to ensure smooth and efficient engagements.

He is committed to being a reliable resource, staying current on tax policy changes, and aiming to bring value to those he serves. Whether joining client calls with partners to better understand a business or mentoring staff and sharing knowledge, John always looks for ways to grow and contribute.

John is from San Diego, CA and earned his Bachelor’s in Economics and Accounting from UC Santa Barbara. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family at the beach, watching sports, and playing golf.
