Gina Medina, CPA
Senior Manager - Audit
With Haskell & White since: 2026
Gina Medina is a Senior Audit Manager with Haskell & White, bringing a distinctive blend of quality control and audit experience to the Firm. Before joining the Firm, Gina held roles at a Big Four and a national accounting firm. During this time, she quickly advanced in the audit department, and after nine years transitioned to a role leading quality control efforts full time. Haskell & White’s practice focuses on engagements where technical accounting skills are required, so understanding each phase of an audit and what makes a quality audit gives her a valuable perspective. Her auditing experience includes private and public companies, and nonprofit organizations.
Approachable and personable, Gina takes a genuine interest in the people she works with and encourages clients to reach out whenever questions come up. She believes in staying connected with clients throughout the year, not just during the audit, so she can help them anticipate issues, plan ahead, and connect with the right resources as needs come up. She listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, and works to understand what clients and teams need so she can provide clear, practical guidance.
Within the Firm, Gina is known for an open-door, non-judgmental leadership style that makes it easy to ask questions and learn. She is currently working on Haskell & White’s implementation of the AICPA’s new quality management standards, and she continues to support quality control at Haskell & White, giving her the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across departments.
Gina earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina Upstate and her Certificate of Advanced Accounting Proficiency from Santa Clara University. Outside of work, Gina enjoys watching sports, reading, and spending time with her family and dog.
