IRVINE, Calif. (July 30, 2007) – Haskell & White LLP, one of Southern California’s largest independently owned accounting, auditing and tax consulting firms, announced that Paul Ata, CPA, has joined the Audit and Business Advisory Services Group as a Manager.
Ata brings more than six years of accounting and auditing experience from Big Four firms as well as other smaller accounting firms. As a Manager, Ata will be responsible for handling several client engagements simultaneously, as well as maintaining client relationships and developing a referral network for business development. Ata will utilize his high-level understanding of business and industry concepts to lay a foundation for providing proactive advice to current and prospective clients, primarily in real estate and related industries.

Prior to joining Haskell & White, Ata held an experienced senior position at Ernst & Young LLP, working directly with client’s management, mainly within the real estate industry. Among other duties in this position, he was the lead senior for the review of various SEC filings for clients, executed various phases of the audit process, and assisted in IPO filings. Previously, he worked as an accountant for Arthur Andersen LLP and at other California-based local accounting firms. Additionally, he also served as a senior program officer at the Operational Unit for Development Assistance in Cairo, Egypt.
