IRVINE, CALIF. (Oct. 3, 2006) – Haskell & White LLP, one of Southern California’s largest independently owned accounting, auditing and tax consulting firms, today announced that Jutta C. Gebauer, CPA, has joined the Audit and Business Advisory Services Group as an Audit Principal.
Gebauer, a 20-year veteran of both public and private accounting, brings to the Firm expertise in the manufacturing, distribution and professional services sectors. As a Principal, she handles engagements for both private and closely held public middle-market companies in a variety of industries. She is responsible for providing financial statement services to her clients, including the planning, execution and delivery of audits and consulting.

Prior to joining Haskell & White, Gebauer served as Audit Director at the national firm McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, where she was responsible for servicing closely-held companies ranging in size from small start-ups to large corporations with revenues in excess of $400 million. She also spearheaded numerous assurance engagements, coordinating and supervising all levels of personnel, performance of technical reviews and business advisory services for various clients. Previously, Gebauer served as an Audit Manager at the “Big Five” accounting firm Arthur Andersen, LLP. While there, she participated in recruiting efforts and mentored a group of 15 female accountants at the firm. In addition, her professional experience includes employment as a Controller for a general contractor.

Gebauer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, graduating with highest honors. A resident of Mission Viejo, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and serves as the vice president of finance for the board of directors of the Accounting Alumni Association at Cal State Fullerton. She also has served as treasurer and member of the board of directors for the PTA at a local elementary school.
