Presented by Santa Ana Boys & Girls Club
(IRVINE, Calif., October 31, 2005) – David R. White II, co-founder of Haskell & White, one of the largest locally-owned accounting firms in Orange County, was honored on Saturday, October 29, at the 2005 Santa Ana Boys & Girls Club Castle of Dreams dinner, at Joe’s Garage in Tustin, Calif. White received the DreamMaker Award, an honor celebrating his philanthropic spirit and 14 years of service to the organization in Orange County.
As a member of the Santa Ana Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors for 14 years, White has helped the club achieve its goals of providing local youth with life-enhancing programs, character-developing experiences and a safe place for the children to grow as individuals.
“Giving back to the community that our business serves has always been a high priority for us,” said White. “I feel great pride to be involved with this organization and am grateful for the opportunity to play a role in its growth.”
The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana has been impacting the youth of the community by providing the opportunity for growth and attainment of personal dreams. Activities and developmental programs are offered in the afternoons and evenings in the neighborhoods where the participating youth live. More than 26,000 at-risk children live within one mile of the facility – the highest concentration on the West Coast.
