IRVINE, Calif. (February 5, 2020) – Haskell & White, one of the largest independent public accounting firms in Southern California, got a strong start to the new decade with a bevy of promotions in both the tax and audit departments – totaling nine professionals across the two teams.

Haskell & White congratulates the following individuals on their promotions:
Ann Nguyen, CPA, Manager, Tax Services
Nguyen began her accounting career with Katherman Kitts before the firm merged with Haskell & White. Between the two, she has five years of public accounting experience, through which she’s gained acute technical skills and specialization with high-net-worth individuals and their closely-held businesses in the technology, professional services, and manufacturing industries. In her new manager position, she will draw on those experiences as she works with clients on tax planning and consulting. Nguyen graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in accounting.
Kevin Pimentel, CPA, Manager, Tax Services
Pimentel has been with Haskell & White for more than a year, having worked at several other firms in the past and carved out a specialty in serving real estate, high-net-worth individuals and professional services. His past experiences have given him a broad understanding of the business and accounting needs of diverse clients and industries. His new manager role fits well with his strong belief in mentorship. Pimentel plans to continue expanding his capabilities, so he can, in turn, share his knowledge and promote the success of the firm. Pimentel graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a bachelor’s degree in business economics, with an emphasis in accounting.
Nathan Dallin, In-Charge Associate, Tax Services
With a hunger for knowledge and a knack for teamwork, Dallin has been with Haskell & White for two and a half years. He graduated from the University of Utah with a master’s degree in accounting. He currently specializes in real estate and high-net-worth individuals. In his new role as an in-charge in the tax services group, he will supervise staff on projects while working with managers to meet client needs and expectations. He is currently working towards the completion of his CPA license requirements.
Steven DePasquale, CPA, Senior Accountant, Audit and Business Advisory Services
DePasquale joined Haskell & White after completing his undergraduate degree in business economics at California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo and his master’s in accounting from Gonzaga University. Working with companies in the technology industry as well as public companies, his new role as senior will have him more involved with clients and training staff members as they work on their audit engagements.
Matthew Russo, In-Charge Associate, Tax Services
A graduate of California State University, Fullerton, Russo has been with Haskell & White for more than two years. He specializes in S-corporations and C-corporations while maintaining a strong working knowledge base in real estate and high net worth individuals. Matthew excels in using sharp time management and communication skills to be efficient with fellow staff and clients. In his new role as an in-charge associate, he will take on more direct client interaction and review of staff work.
Brandon Porter, In-Charge Associate, Audit and Business Advisory Services
After graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor’s of science in accounting, Porter joined the firm and, over the last two years, worked primarily with our real estate, life science, and nonprofit clients. As an in-charge, he will be working closely with clients and supervising team members to efficiently complete audit engagements. He is currently working towards the completion of his CPA license requirements.
Tracy Pack, CPA, Senior Accountant, Tax Services
Pack graduated from the University of Central Arkansas, where she earned three bachelor’s degrees in business administration, information systems management and accounting & finance. Her hard-working and reliable energy has been channeled into a passion for her work at Haskell & White, where in her new role as senior in the tax department, she will supervise staff and manage projects.
Michael Conceicao, CPA, Senior Accountant, Tax Services
Originally from Connecticut – where he graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a bachelor of science in accounting – Conceicao’s accounting journey eventually led him to California. He’s been with Haskell & White for a year. He will take on much more client contact, while onboarding new staff, training staff, reviewing tax returns and myriad new administrative duties in his new role.
Robert Sena, In-Charge Associate, Tax Services
Sena came to Haskell & White after recently earning his master of science in taxation from California State University, Northridge. He has quickly set himself apart through his people management and multi-tasking abilities. These skills will aid him as he takes on his new responsibilities of the in-charge associate role with the tax services group and begins to mentor staff and interns, work more directly with upper management and communicate with clients.
