Don R. Hofflander, CPA
Tax Principal
Corporate tax specialist Don R. Hofflander joined Haskell & White LLP in 2000 after more than 35 years with Ernst & Young LLP, 20 years of which he was a corporate tax partner.
In his current role, Don focuses on areas of accounting that impact manufacturing and high-tech industries, including executive compensation, stock options, transaction structures, research and experimentation credit studies, and transfer pricing issues. He also has extensive experience with multi-state and international tax matters.
During his tenure at Ernst & Young, Don served public and private companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, electronics, medical technology and healthcare. As a tax service partner, he was responsible for coordinating all tax-related services including planning, compliance, special projects, mergers and acquisitions, and financial accounting for income taxes.
Don holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from California State University, Los Angeles and an MBA degree from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA).
