 Peter G. Dolbee, CPA
Corporate Tax Partner
Peter G. Dolbee is in charge of the Corporate Tax Group at Haskell & White LLP. He joined the Firm in 2001, following 30 years at Ernst & Young LLP. Pete has served a variety of major clients: public and private, domestic and foreign. His clients have spanned a variety of industries, from investment, mortgage, and merchant banks to manufacturers, retailers, service and engineering businesses, restaurant chains, publishers, and technology companies.
At Ernst & Young, where he was a partner for more than 20 years, Pete was responsible for coordinating partner responsibilities as well as providing tax consulting and compliance services. These included mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, tax examinations and appeals, financial accounting for income taxes, due diligence, transaction structuring, buyer and seller side representation, and post-acquisition tax management and planning.
Pete, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton, has served twice as president of the Accounting Advisory Association at CSUF. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA). Pete also has served as treasurer of the Orange County Chapter of the Boy Scouts of America.
